Intelestream's Password Strength PRO for SugarCRM delivers all of the functionality of the free password strength tool (password must be alphanumeric, contain both uppercase and lowercase letters, and be six or more characters in length), plus additional security measures that force users to change their passwords on a regular basis. This tool is appropriate for all organizations that need to have the strictest measures of CRM security in place. It is compatible with all editions and versions of SugarCRM and can be installed easily by using the module loader in the admin area.

The workflow is simple and ensures a more secure CRM:

1) The admin accesses the Password Integrity module in SugarCRM



The administrator schedules how regularly a user must change his or her password, or forces all users to change their passwords at next login.




Users receive a message that they need to change their password next time they login



Users are forced to change their password.
The system will not permit resetting to the old password. Users must select a new one.



 
If users do not enter a password according to the criteria of the tool, the following message is displayed:

• Unzip the contained files locally to your machine.
• Upload the three contained files to your /Modules/Users/ directory.
